In the year 1691, on January 26, the Church Council, in the fear of the Lord, met with each other, and they summoned Volkert Jansz. He did not only had words with the secretary, but also a fight. He came, confessed his mistake and showed his sorrow about it, after which the Church Council then gave him a serious admonition and ruled he should not participate in the Lord's Supper.

Trijn Jansdaughter told Master Jacobs next to the town hall she (after having been brought before the Church Council the year earlier) had not been to the church since, nor did she want to participate in the Lord's Supper until the Church Council first came to  her and invited her to the Lord's Supper again. When the Church Council heard this, it has been decided to speak to her during a house visit and to seriously admonish her to diligently observe the Holy Religion in God's House and when the  Church Council judges she fulfills her duty properly in this, they might then be willing to invite her to the Lord;s Supper again.

No idea what happened a year earlier, but three months later they decide to leave Vlieland:

On April 26, a certificate was given after Amsterdam to Volkert Jansz and Trijn Jansdr's wife (so on April 26, 1691 they left for the capital)

Two children have already been born on Vlieland to them: Jan (1687) and Cornelis (1689). At least three more will be added in Amsterdam: Piter (1693), Seijbrigh (1695) and again a child called Jan (in the summer of 1701).

In 1692, Volkert borrowed money from Claes Boon

In 1693, Jan Six's barge ship ran aground and when it was refloated by the rising tide, it drifted over the rope and anchor of the barge ship of Volckert Tor.
